The Pathfinder Adventure Card Game: Skull & Shackles- The Price of Infamy Adventure Deck is published by Paizo Publishing. It adds new villains, henchmen, locations and more. It also adds 5 new scenarios that make up The Price of Infamy adventure path. This is based on the Pathfinder RPG adventure of the same name. The main synopsis of this set is that there is a dangerous invasion planned. It’s your job to discover the betrayal behind it all. These scenarios will help you level up your characters and provide lots of new adventures to play.

COMPONENTS
This expansion adds over 100 all new cards to already amazing base game. As with the previous adventure sets, the artwork is really great and looks like it was ripped from the pages of the adventure itself. There are cards of many different types that will add to your enjoyment of the game. There are lots of new items and loot cards including a couple of copies of the Bottle Lightning card. There are some very odd and unusual monsters unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. Monsters like the Galvo look like a snake haters biggest fear come to life. Every card in this set really brings you more into the game. Each one has a great look and feel very nice. There are lots of new things that will help you customize your characters even more. I will say one thing though, if you were looking for ally cards, there aren’t many in this set. Just something to be aware of. In any event, there’s still so much included that you won’t really miss those type that much.

RULEBOOK
There is no rulebook included with this expansion. All rules needed to play are provided in the base game.

GAMEPLAY
Just like the earlier Adventure decks, this one provides a ton of new stuff to keep you entertained for hours. It follows along with the original RPG really well. It’s really exciting and the challenges are quite difficult. There are many new monsters, henchmen and villains to face off against this time around. However the gear and loot that you can get through these adventures is well worth spending the time searching each location. This is a really great addition to the game and adds lots of great new scenarios.

OVERALL
The Price of Infamy Adventure Deck is a great addition to a an already great expanding and customizable game. It is really fun and will add tons of enjoyment for anyone that already a fan of the game. I love the artwork and the theme is great, especially if you like pirates. Let’s face it. Who doesn’t love pirates? I highly recommend adding this to your base game, of course you should always make sure that you pick up the earlier sets first. Fans of Pathfinder or the Pathfinder card game will definitely enjoy romping and stomping through each adventure scenario. This is a great addition and one that you will want to get. I love it and so will you.
